Friends, Cards, &Â Food? Let's Play!
This exciting, thought-evoking card game has put an all new twist on ordinary food games! Before the game begins, a Judge shall be selected to govern all rounds. During play, the Judge will present players with 3 different ingredient cards (Proteins, Fruits/Vegetables, and Grains/Starch) and one ‘Location’ card which influences the style of the dish! Additionally, players may elect to include a 5th card to spice things up… but be careful, these cards are known make or break your dish! If the player decides to receive a 5th card, the 'Spices' card, the Judge will randomly select a spice and the player will have to incorporate it into their dish.
The players’ task is to present a dish that works with all of the cards. Each player will present to the Judge and the worst dish will be knocked out. The next round will include different ingredients and location cards. This will be continued until only one player remains and takes the title of Delish Dish Master!
The Cards- Vibrant and Durable
All players will have a set of cards that the Judge displays in front of them. Some players may choose to add a spice card, which
the Judge will hand to them. The Fridge and Basket
inventory sheets will also be laid out for
everyone to see
Delish Dish cards are vibrant, durable, and easy to understand.
Useful information and a visual representation of each
ingredient is printed on every card and can
be located where it is shown
in this example.
Firing it Up- Getting Started
The Judge lays out a Protein (red), Fruit/Vegetable (green), Grain/Starch (yellow), and Location (blue) card.
Each card on display should be read out loud. Players will have the option of drawing a Spices (orange) card, but it is not mandatory.
The players will use the Ingredient Cards to make a dish based on the Location. In addition to the Ingredients Cards, players can use the Fridge and Basket reference sheets to help make their dishes.
Cooking Under Pressure- Working Quickly
Once the players look over all the cards, the Judge will indicate the start of the 2-minute round where players will write out their dish on a piece of paper (not provided). The Judge will give each player 1 minute to explain their dish before deciding who to eliminate. One player shall be eliminated from the game at the end of each round.
Cooking With Heat- Will Your Dish Be Hot Enough?
After a player has been eliminated, a new round can begin. Each preceding round shall be played in the same fashion as the last, but new cards must be used for each ingredient type and a new location card must be drawn each round. A player shall be eliminated at the end of each round and the game should be played until only one to player (chef) remains. This chef will take home the title of Delish Dish Master!

Could Delish Dish Get Even Better?
In Short, the Answer is Only Through Manufacturing Process Improvement, Experimental Product Testing, Upgraded Distribution Channels, and Expansion Packs!
Upgraded Plastic Wrapping Machine
A New Plastic Wrapping Machine Could Be More Energy Efficient Than the Current Model We Use to Shrink Wrap our Products.
Sustainably Sourced Paper Inputs
Picnic Basket could switch to more sustainable paper supplier now, but it would increase prices by 2%. If we can find a cheaper quality paper supplier our manufacturing process will become even more environmentally sustainable.
Donations to Cover Cost of Experimental Product
When Picnic Basket receives donations for experimental testing, we can produce and have people test our products free of charge which allows us to gather feedback and data for product
performance analysis and improvement.
Upgraded Input and Inventory Tracking Software
Upgrading our internal inventory and input tracking system would allow us to reduce the amount of time spent on keeping up with the location and status of each product in our facility. This would allow our company to more efficiently allocate labor resources which increases our bottom line and lowers the cost to consumers!
Delish Dish Expansion Pack
If Delish Dish sales meet or beat 2020 projections, we will still be on track to release an expansion pack in April of 2021. Trust us, Picnic Basket’s design team has produced yet another stunning card game expansion pack that we cannot wait to unveil!
